Cornbread with Honey Butter
Rodney Scott's World of BBQ
If you love a sweet cornbread, the honey butter from this recipe turns a pretty average cornbread buttery sweet. If you don't, you can just leave that part out. It will still have a a hint of sweetness, but it won't be cake-like at all.
This makes a pretty big batch, but leftovers make a great breakfast option. Add a side of fruit and some eggs, bacon, or sausage and you'll be full all morning.
I couldn't find this exact recipe online, but the cornbread itself was a basic not-too-sweet one. So if you mix butter with some honey you can elevate your standard cornbread any time!
