Raita is a very common condiment (or side) served with spicy dishes in Indian cuisine. I don't know if this is very different than any other recipe, but we enjoyed it with the Chicken Berry Brittania (video coming soon!) as suggested in the book.

This was thick and fresh, a very nice accompaniment to a spice-laden dish or a drier rice dish like a biryani. I'll definitely be making it again!
