Soy Braised Brisket with Caramelized Honey and Garlic
Nothing Fancy
This Soy-Braised Brisket with Caramelized Honey and Garlic is almost like pho or ramen. Super flavorful, complex broth, served over noodles (or rice, or nothing carb=y at all if you prefer) with tender meat and topped with fresh herbs. Delicious! I really love the hit of fresh cilantro, but if you don't I am sure any combo of fresh herbs you like would work fine. Parsley, mint, basil, green onions...just something fresh and tasty to you is all you need. We served it over rice noodles for a well-rounded meal.
I wouldn't call this a summer recipe -- we made it ages ago but pushed all those summer squash videos ahead of it to keep it seasonal (and help you use up the bounty of the garden), but sometimes you go on vacation and fall behind. Luckily this video will still be here when you want a warm and comforting bowl of food.
